Creative Lesson #1: Look for inspiration everywhere.
A few weeks ago I was sitting at a stoplight when I noticed a tiny bug on my windshield. I have no idea what kind of bug it was, but its body was dirty mustard yellow, and its wings where iridescent pinks and greens, maybe some blues, too. I stared at that bug until the light turned green. It obviously flew away, but i couldn’t stop thinking about the colors. They were PERFECT together. You can’t tell me that things just randomly came about on this planet without Someone crafting it all together. The color scheme was beautiful together. Just for this little tiny bug that would probably never be stared at by a human being again. It was like that bug was created just for me. It totally inspired an entire design.
An entire design concept from a little teenie tiny bug on my windshield.
It just goes to prove that you really can find inspiration everywhere, if you just look for it.
