Angie is a full-fledged caffiene addict. Her current revelry is the iced white chocolate mocha (non-fat, no whip) that she would prefer to drink every single morning. You will also find Angie day dreaming about ministry, books, philosophy, theology, digital photography, facebook, graphic design, writing, and her latest-and-greatest uncoordinated moments.
Angie currently works on the Communications team at Pleasant Valley Baptist Church handling design and administration. She previously worked at Westside Family Church as the Associate Director of High School Ministries. She recently graduated from MidAmerica Nazarene University with a bachelor’s degree in graphic design and a minor in art.
The passion that pulls her heart the strongest is the desire to disciple and invest in the lives of her friends, peers, family, and youth.
Angie’s new found love of writing has brought her here, and although it may be not be eloquent, it is raw. She writes from her heart and dares to dive deep beneath the surface of clichés and status quos. She ventures to embark on the dangerous and reckless road Christ has called all of us to walk, and through her writings she speaks of the highs and lows of this journey.
Angie’s primary love language is ”quality time”, and her secondary love language is tied between ”words of affirmation” and “physical touch.” Despite ”gifts” not being on the top of her love language list, she is always accepting gift cards to Amazon.com, Target, American Eagle, and Starbucks.
